Family members open the door with a fingerprint or PIN, so nobody needs to carry keys. Many models let you give helpers or contractors their own code, and you can get a notification on your phone when the door is opened.

It depends on the door as much as the lock. Most main doors in Malaysian condos and landed homes take a mortise-type digital lock, while metal grille gates need a lock made for gates. We check the door thickness, the existing lock cut-out and the opening direction on site before recommending a model.

A good smart lock is at least as secure as a conventional lock, and flat batteries are planned for. Most models warn you well before the batteries run low, many have an emergency power port on the outside, and most keep a mechanical backup key. From inside, the door opens with the handle, so you are never locked in.
Usually yes. Some buildings have rules about the outside look of the main door, so check your house rules first. We check the door and how the lock fits during the free site visit.
Yes. Fingerprint, PIN and card all work at the door without internet. Internet is only needed for remote unlocking and phone notifications.
